The reservoir of Selga de Ordás is one of the best places of Cuatro Valles to observe waterfowl, both the resident and migratory, arriving at these latitudes in winter, an ideal time for a visit, since we may find a large number of birds concentrating here.
Only with a bit of patience and a quiet walk on the path along the reservoir, we can observe species linked to three special ecosystems: the shallowest areas, the shores and riparian vegetation area. In this walk it’s also possible to observe waterfowl which prefer the centre of the reservoir, with deeper waters.
