Mount Brición beech forest is a small patch of beeches that occupies much of the northern slopes of Gallo Peak. It is located south of Cármenes, a town from which you can enter the forest easily. The peaceful atmosphere that prevails in this forest and the presence of old beeches, with rugged and tortuous trunks to nest, favour the presence of a long list of forest birds.
Furthermore, in the vicinity of the forest, other environments thrive, such as grasslands, scrublands, oak woodlands, pine reforestations, rocky lands and the Torío River, each one with a specific bird community.
