La Utrera alder forest

In La Utrera, where the Omaña River approaches its confluence with the Luna River, the river retains the purity of its waters.
Alders and willows thrive on both sides of its banks, to form a very lush riverside forest and almost continuous, where many species of riverside birds such as the dipper, wagtails or cetti's warbler, find shelter and food.
In winter, tireless flocks of siskins go through the alder branches, adopting improbable postures while feeding on their seeds. With luck, you may find the grey heron or the common kingfisher seeking food.
