The Aralla pass is situated in the watershed between the valleys of the Bernesga and the Luna Rivers. There is easy road access, offering great views of both valleys, at any time of the year you whish to visit.
The bushes and grasslands that cover these mountains slopes are home to an interesting community of birds. It is easy to observe species that prefer open and clear environments among them.
From the top, it is not uncommon to see different species of birds of prey, flying majestically over the peaks in search of prey or carrion. Their prodigious eyesight and exceptional glide ability facilitate the location of both, prey or carrion.
