Villagatón reservoir

Place
It was built to ensure the extensive irrigation crops that occupy much of the basin of the Tuerto River. This reservoir, of moderate size, attracts migrating waterfowl during their passing periods.
Moreover, near the reservoir and in the vicinity of the Villagatón town, there are wide-populated areas of scrublands and grasslands, where you can see birds typical from Mediterranean environments, a singularity in the territory of Cuatro Valles, dominated by environments of Atlantic influence.
